Bosa Higgs: Reflections of Blood(part 1)

Written by Dean Milenkovic 09/25/2008

Room of darkness: Just an occasional reflection of the sun in the mirrors of cars passing by would pierce through the tightly close blinds.

Room of clocks: From the striking mechanisms of pendulum, tuning forks to complexity of quartz crystals, atomic clocks and optical time pieces, this box room appeared to be a ticking bomb. Each clock, binary or projection was set individually to time unknown to a regular observer; only its creator could make sense out of these wall of time. Some were set to resonate on a frequency lower than standard in order to emulate the travel at approximately speed of light. For ten years of existence, the clock, refereed to as the relativity clock, showed only a little more than four years passed.

Room of empty: Except for the walk-in closet in the deep left corner of the room, the only object occupying space was a single twin bed. Always fixed and neatly prepared, it seemed as if it was never slept on. But on the covers was she: late 20's, shoulder-length black hair, large brown eyes, and distinctive face features with the body type depicted in master paintings of the Renaissance period. She is deeply asleep, but the twitches on her face indicate that the sleep itself might not be that resting. Probably a nightmare.

I plan to write a excerpt every Saturday and I welcome suggestions and corrections.
